This year, more than ever, Evening with Friends needs sponsors!

 

 

 

 

Complacency about HIV/AIDS may be moving us into the most dangerous era in the history of this epidemic.

  • Did you know that at a time when new drugs can delay the onset of AIDS, one-third of American HIV patients go without treatment because of a lack of money?

  • Did you know that it has been estimated that at least half of all new HIV infections in the United States are among people under 25?

Evening with Friends is a grassroots effort to raise money to fight HIV/AIDS. Compassionate volunteers host dinner parties at their homes. They provide their guests with dinner in exchange for a donation to Evening with Friends. After dinner, all hosts and guests gather on Saturday, April 27th for a dessert and coffee Gala at a location is still being determined. In seven years, Evening with Friends has raised over $1,400,000 to serve people living with and to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the Triangle.

With sponsorship revenues offsetting event expenses such as printing and postage, 100% of party revenues can be returned to benefiting agencies. We hope that you will be able support Evening with Friends with a donation to this event and to the community.

Evening with Friends benefits (ACRA) AIDS Community Residence Association, (AASC) Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina and Member Agencies; (ASANC) AIDS Service Agency of North Carolina, Inc., (ASAOC) AIDS Service Agency of Orange County and (TRAIN) Triangle AIDS Interfaith Network. With people living with HIV/AIDS longer, the strain on these AIDS service organizations is growing each month. AIDS organizations rely on special events such as Evening with Friends for critical operating funds.
